Funeral services for Milton W. Pitts, 73, of Birmingham, will be 11 am Thursday at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Ridley Herren and Rev. Buddy Poe officiating and music selections by the Gospel Valley Boys.. Burial will follow at Bethel East Baptist Church Cemetery in Woodland, AL. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 -11 am at the funeral home. Mr. Pitts died Sunday at his residence.
Survivors include his sister, Barbara Annette Pitts; brother, Tim Pitts; sister-in-law, Margaret Herren (Jerry); brothers-in-law: John Mote (Mary) and Carl Donald Mote (Paula); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pitts is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Annette Pitts; his parents Curtis Walker Pitts and Margaret Brown Pitts.
Pallbearers will be Clarence Sims, Leon Sims, Jeff Herren, Mark Herren, Charles Mote and Mike McCain
