Funeral service for Ned Ray Hughes, Jr., 62, of Kennesaw, will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at DeArmanville United Methodist Church in Dearmanville, Alabama. Mr. Hughes passed away Monday, October 23, 2017.
Survivors include his children, Brittany Elizabeth Deegan (Josiah) and Grayson Brent Hughes (Paula); grandchild, Ellarose Claire Deegan; parents, Ned Ray Hughes, Sr., and Iris Elizabeth; brother, Bryan Hughes (Anne); sister, Rebecca Hughes Peace (Dennis); and nieces, Julianne McAdams, Caroline McClellan, and Molly Hughes.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Wilson Hughes.
Mr. Hughes was a graduate of Model High School and the University of Georgia. He had just become a grandfather on Thursday, October 19, 2017, and loved his children dearly.
