Graveside Service for Mrs. Nellie Fay Shaffer, 87, of Anniston will be held at Forestlawn Gardens at 11am on Thursday, October 25th, 2018 with Bro. Tim Holder Officiating. Mrs. Shaffer passed away Monday night at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include her children: Ray Holder (Kim), Susan Sharp (Paul), and Harold Shaffer; step-children Allan Shaffer Jr., Margaret Wagner, Danny Shaffer, and Donald Shaffer; grandchildren Tim Holder, Kyle Holder, Stephanie Cash, David Sharp Jr., Allen Sharp, Gareth Kiker, Zane Shaffer, Miranda Goble, and Bridgette Shaffer; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Allen Shaffer; her parents John Smith and Ola Gunnels Smith; and several brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Shaffer's grandsons.
Mrs. Shaffer was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
