Funeral services for Ola Mae Hill, 85 of Anniston, will be 12 pm Monday, December 30, 2013 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Terry Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 am – 12 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Hill passed away Friday at her residence.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Perkinson (Bob), son, Clarence Hill Jr., five sisters, Dorothy Bishop, Betty Ross, Faye Frizzell (Gene), Josephine McDonald (Wendell) and Margaret Ballew (Pete), two brothers, Edward Abney (Mary) and Billy Abney (Charlotte).
Mrs. Hill is preceded in death by her husband, Pete Hill, parents, Wesley and Myrtle Abney and her brother, Luster Abney.
Pallbearers will be family and friends..
Mrs. Hill was a native of Sand Mountain and a resident of Anniston for most of her life. She was a member of Gladeview Baptist Church. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Hanna, Elaine Caudle with Alacare Hospice and caregiver, Stephanie Semien for their loving care.
