

Weaver - Mrs. Ophelia Elizabeth Bailey Medders, 90, a longtime resident of Weaver, passed away on June 13, 2011, at the Manassas Health and Rehab Center in Manassas, Va., after suffering a massive stroke. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2011, in the chapel of Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with the Rev. T. W. Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Crook Cemetery in Alexandria. The family will receive friends this evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Medders is preceded in death by her husband, Elbert T. Medders; sisters, Pauline Bailey, Anna Belle King, Hazel Driggers, Mary Peterson; and brother, Joseph Bailey. She is survived by her daughters, Melba Haynes, of Trenton, Ohio and Dianne Adams and her husband, Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Jeffery Adams, of Manassas, Va.; granddaughter, Tara Page and husband Scott; great-grandchildren, Quintin and Olivia Page, all of Trenton, Ohio; sisters, Lucille Kilgore and husband, Robert, Clara Ingram, Dollie Campbell and husband, T. Campbell and Sue Schiller; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Scott Page, Quintin Page, Cecil Medders, Tommy Haynes and Wayne Cser.
