OBITUARY

Patrick Brian Waites

Patrick Brian Waites, age 47, of Oxford, Alabama passed away on Saturday February 1, 2020. Patrick was born March 4, 1972 in AL. to Norris and Audrey Waites. He was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He attended Oxford High School. Loved music, playing his guitar and spending time with his family. He never met a stranger and will be greatly missed.

Patrick is survived by; daughter Jessica Crossley; son Brian Waites; and son Dakota Waites; sister Audrey Stone, sister Sharmon Watson (Stanley) and brother Dennis Waites (Tamie); grandchild Auburn Waites and grandchild Rylan Waites and several nieces and nephews.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents Norris and Audrey Waites; two brothers Keith Bell and Lamar Waites.

A visitation for Patrick will be held Monday, February 3, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 2:00 PM, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201. A burial will occur at Pine Grove Cemetery, Anniston, Alabama 36201.

Serving as pallbearers are Chris Trapp, Heath Pearson, Jonathan Kendall, Harley Kendall, Kaleb Watson and Jordan Watson.

Doug and I are so saddened by the loss of Pat. We grew to admire Pat the short time we knew him. He was so kind and thankful for anything done for him. He will be missed. Prayers for his family.
