She was a Proverbs 31 woman, managing her household well. She loved everyone with her total being, and that feeling was reciprocated. Kind and compassionate, she was a woman whom friends and family looked to for advice. Mrs. Patterson was a dedicated Christian, who depended upon God for her daily walk. She belonged to Leatherwood Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery and kept the babies; she had a knack for calming crying children. In her later years, She was a member of United Fellowship Baptist Church. She was a seamstress by trade, having worked at a number of the sewing manufacturers.
Pallbearers will be Ricardo Caraballosa, Will Keirn, Jonathan Roberts Sr.; Jason DiSalvo; Andy Smith; and Adam Roach.
Special thanks to SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice staff for their kindness and care during the brief illness of Mrs. Patterson and to the Anniston police officer who calmed those who were staying with her at the time of her death.
