Funeral service for Peggy Stovall Harper, age 91, of White Plains, will be 11:00 am, Saturday, July 25, 2015, at White Plains Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Snider officiating. Burial will follow at The Harper Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 am until service time. Mrs. Harper passed away Wednesday morning at Dugger Mountain Assisted Living.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Harper Bradley (Leon); son, Tony Harper (Debbie); daughter-in-law, Patsy Harper; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Nellie Traywick and Martha Law; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Harper is preceded in death by her husband, Merrill R. Harper; and sons, Ronald B. Harper and Robin B. Harper.
Pallbearers and Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of White Plains Baptist Church.
Mrs. Harper was a native and lifelong native of White Plains and a member of White Plains Baptist Church for over 20 years. She retired from Calhoun County Civil Service with over 30 years of service.
