Peggy Ward

Visitation for Mrs. Peggy A. Ward of Anniston will be Thursday, Jan 28, 2021 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm.

Mrs. Peggy A. Ward was born November 18, 1939 and passed away on January 26, 2021.

Mrs. Ward is survived by her husband Billy C. Ward; son, Barry Ward (Robbie); brother, Ray Harris (Rita); grandsons, Bradley Ward (Allison) and Rock Ward (Brandy); great-grandchildren, Brock Ward, Brooklyn Ward, and Bayleigh Ward; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Koon, Scott Harris, and Joe Harris.

Mrs. Ward is preceded in death by her father, Ralph O. Harris and mother, Sara Harris Wheeler.

Pallbearers will be Rock Ward, Bradley Ward, Mike Ward, Wendall Ward, Gerald Carroll and Larry Ward.

Peggy graduated in 1958 from Alexandria High School and was Drum Majorette 5 years. She married Billy Ward and they were married for 61 years. She attended and loved watching her son, grandsons and great grandson play sports at White Plains. She was an avid Auburn Football fan.

Peggy was a member of Chosea Springs Baptist Church.
