Quinn proudly served his country in the United States Navy. After his military service, he devoted much of his life to his family and his community. He retired from the Calhoun County School System, where he was known and respected by many.
Quinn was a longtime member of Plum Springs Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member for many years. His faith and his family were important parts of his life.
Quinn found some of his greatest joy in watching his children and grandchildren participate in sports. He loved cheering them on from the sidelines and especially enjoyed coaching his grandchildren. Those memories of him supporting, encouraging, and loving his family will be treasured for generations to come.
Quinn was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Ingram and Lilly Mae Ingram, his loving wife of 42 years, Pharma Ingram, and his siblings, George W. Ingram, Ed Ingram, J.E. Ingram, Bobby Ingram, Frances Livingston and Nancy Antiola.
He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory, including his children, Donna Bonds (Tim) and Darrell Ingram (Becky); his grandchildren, Angela Glidewell (Janson), Evan Ingram (Ashley), and others; his great-grandchildren, Treston Dew, Makalei Dew, Bradyn Dew, Tratyn Glidewell, Seth Ingram and his great-great-grandson, Trace “Bentley” Dew. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a world of friends who were blessed to know him.
Quinn will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his service to his country, his love of sports, his faith, and the many lives he touched throughout his 97 years. His legacy will live on through the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren he loved so dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Quinn's memory.
