Randy Blake Pettus

August 6, 1953 --- November 10, 2025

Beloved Husband, Father and Pawpaw,

Randy Pettus, 72, passed on November 10th 2025 at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham.

He is survived by his wife; Carlene Smith Pettus, Sons; Shane Pettus (Audrey) and Chris Pettus both from Munford, Stepsons; Scott and Roger Hannah and Stepdaughter, Lisa Hannah all of Newnan, GA., Grandchildren; Samantha Jacobson (Brandon), Christian Pettus (Jodi), Sydney Pettus, Joseph Pettus, David Pettus and Thomas Pettus, Great-grandson; Nico Jacobson, Brothers; John Pettus (Sharlene) and Jeff Pettus (Ann), Sister; Marylyn Rainwater (Jerry), along with several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Samuel Pettus Sr., Mother; Marie Forbus, Brothers; James Pettus and Robert S Pettus Jr., Son; Randy (Blake) Pettus, Jr and one Daughter; Penny Hannah.

There will be a funeral service for Mr. Pettus on Thursday, November 13th in the chapel of Gray Brown-Service Mortuary 1329 Wilmer Ave. Anniston Al 36201 at 2 pm with Tony Moore officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon and all are invited to attend. Immediately following the service, there will be a graveside service for Randy at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lineville Alabama.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Christian Pettus, Joseph Pettus and David Pettus as well as Seaven Green, Justin Nichols and Tommy Smith.

Randy loved his family, fishing and Alabama football. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of his loved ones.
