

Raven Nicole Grinfield, aged 25, of Anniston, AL, passed away on November 5, 2024. Born on November 19,1998, Raven was known for her vibrant and multifaceted personality. She was often seen as the life of the party, spontaneous yet reliable, with a sharp wit and a deeply protective nature. She was not only a creative spirit but also a passionate baker, often regarded as the sweetest part of her. Raven was a true "momma bear," a title she embraced wholeheartedly.
Raven graduated from Moody High School in the class of 2017 and later achieved a Ph.D. in momology, reflecting her deep commitment to family and motherhood. Professionally, she dedicated herself to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Village of Cook Springs. Her compassion and dedication were evident in every aspect of her work.
Her faith played a significant role in her life; she attended Moody First Baptist Church, where she found much comfort and community.
Raven's hobbies included baking, crafting, gardening, planting, and investigating, all of which brought great joy and fulfillment to her life. These activities were not only passions but also a way for her to connect with her loved ones and the natural world.
She is survived by a loving family: spouse Dilion Davis; daughters Emma, Lillian, and Sarah Smith; mother Katrina Gilbert and her husband Justin; father Ed Grinfield and his wife Angie; parents-in-law Eric and Joanna Davis; grandparents Lloyd Gilbert and his wife Annette and Joe Webb and his wife Barbara; brothers Adam Grinfield and his wife Caitlin, Devon Grinfield and his wife Taylor, Josh Grinfield, Aaron Grinfield and his wife Bailey; sisters Makayla and Kennedy Grinfield; brother-in-law Tyler Davis and his wife Ashleigh, LeAnn Davis, Hunter Shaddix; and several nephews including Grayson, Teagan, Maddox, Lathen, Sawyer, and Declan Grinfield. The family also includes a host of friends, cousins, and extended family members who will miss her dearly. Raven was preceded in death by her daughter, Dylan Claire Davis and her grandparents Fred and Betty Grinfield, Roger Davis and Pam Dover.
A graveside service will be held in her honor on November 11, 2024, at Forestlawn Gardens, where friends and family are invited to gather and remember her life and legacy. There will also be a Celebration of Life on 11/19/24 at Moody First Baptist Church at 6 p.m.
