Funeral services for Raymond Rollins 94 of Heflin will be Monday at 1:00 P.M. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Franklin McGee officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Hill Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 at the funeral home. Mr. Rollins passed away Thursday at his residence.
Survivors include his wife Joan Rollins of Heflin, daughters Beatrice Greene and Charlotte Cagle both of Anniston, his son Stanley Rollins (Elaine) of Talladega, nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, six step-children, six step-great grandchildren, a sister Odell LeCroy (Cecil) of Heflin and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rollins is preceded in death by his parents Monroe and Mary Rollins, his first wife Ruth McCormick Rollins, son-in-law Curtis Greene and Grandson Billy Greene.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mr. Rollins was a lifelong resident of Cleburne County. He retired from Samson Cordage and was a member of Liberty Hill Methodist Church. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and an avid gardener.
