Ressie Brimer

Graveside service for Mrs. Ressie L. Brimer, 80, of Choccolocco will be 1:00pm, Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Steve Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm tonight at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Mrs. Brimer died Thursday at RMC.

Survivors include sons, Robin Brimer and wife Martha of Oxford, Rodney Brimer and wife Faye of DeArmanville; grandchildren, Kristi Wellborn and husband John, Shannon Brimer, Lisa Blankenship; great-grandchildren, Morgan Christopher and husband Jeff, Phillip Stinson, Jacob Blankenship, Kaitlyn Brimer, Damian Brimer, Rebekah, Quinton, Rachael and Aaron Wellborn; sisters, Dorothy Simpson, Sara Dorsett, June Durant; and brother, Charles Simpson.

Mrs. Brimer was preceded in death by her husband, William Fred Brimer; sister, Betty Cofield, brothers, Gayland Simpson and Vester Simpson; parents, Carl and Velma Simpson of Friendship.

Mrs. Brimer was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and member of White Plains Church of Christ.
