Richard Trey Thomas

Mr. Thomas is survived by his mother Felicia Brown; father Howard Thomas Jr. and stepmother Jamie Thomas; brother, J.R. Thomas; sisters Savannah Griffith Thompson (T.J.), and Destiny Thomas; grandparents Larry and Mae Milam and Mary June Thomas; aunts Heather Allen, Ruth Thomas, and Johnnie Lovejoy Gentry (Tracy); cousins Summer Bowman (Tyree), Colby Bowman, Nicholas Lovejoy, Jenni Lovejoy, Stephanie White (Lee), Sabrina Smith (Tyler), and Angie Fisher (Jimmy); and many other extended family members.

Uncle Trey, as he was affectionately known to them, is also survived by his nieces Kiri James Thompson and Tinslee Bain, and nephews Ty Bain and Kendrix Thompson (expected November).

He was preceded in death by his stepfather William Scott Brown; grandfather Howard Thomas Sr.; and uncles Dexter Thomas, Leon Thomas, and Lewis Thomas.

There will be a visitation for Trey on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 7:00PM - 8:00PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary, 1329 Wilmer Ave. Anniston, Al. 36203.

Trey was an avid Alabama football fan who was a wonderful big brother. There was little he loved more than being an uncle. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Addiction Prevention Coalition or Not One More Alabama in his memory.
