Robert Garfield Kilgore

Funeral Services for Robert Garfield Kilgore, 93, of Anniston will be Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 2:00 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. John Copeland officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Kilgore passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, August 3, 2016.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years Lucille Kilgore of Anniston, son Jimmy Kilgore (Toni) of Talladega, step-son Marvin Glass (Barbara) of Tennessee, daughter-in-law Wanda Kilgore of Anniston, brother Neal Kilgore (Dorris) of Anniston, grandchildren Dusty Kilgore (Andrea), Zach Kilgore (Lindsey), Teran Kilgore (Dallas), David Glass (Wendy), LiAnne Bradley (David) and a host of Great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Mr. Kilgore is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Mary Frances Kilgore, wife Bobbie Jean Kilgore, son Terry Kilgore, brother Clifford Kilgore, sisters Alma Grizzard, Bama Owens and Jackie Kilgore.

Pallbearers will be members of the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office.

Mr. Kilgore was a resident of Calhoun County. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle and was a World War II veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Saks and was retired from Blue Mountain Industries.
