Robert E. Land Jr. was born on August 28, 1954 in Anniston, Alabama. He passed away on August 3, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Land, Sr. and Estelle Brom Land. He is survived by his sister; Janet Roberts (John) in Birmingham, Alabama.
Robert (better known as Bob) was a truck driver for most of his adult life. He loved being on the road and seeing so much of this country, having driven through all the continental states and Canada. He also loved hiking and camping and had a passion for playing golf.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 1:00 to 1:30 with a service to follow at 1:30 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 542 W. 52nd St., Anniston, Alabama. The service will be officiated by Rev. Jeff James.
