Ronald Hugh Harris

Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Hugh Harris, 72, of Oxford, will be Thursday, March 6th, 2025, 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Dwight Ingle officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family would like to welcome friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for visitation. The service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Mr. Harris passed away on March 3rd, 2025.

He is survived by his wife, Jamie Harris; children, Christopher Shannon Harris; Chadwick Daniel Harris and his wife Amber, Carrie Salome Harris Reeves and her husband Kyle, Spencer Dalton Davis Harris and his wife Callie; brother, Joseph Harris Jr.; grandchildren, C.J. Harris and his wife Amber, Lane Harris and his wife Kayla, Elizabeth Harris, Joseph Harris, including a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Harris is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sr. and Edna Harris.

Ron was of bold character, one of the funniest pranksters, and most importantly, a spiritual man of our Lord and Savior. He loved his family fiercely and was known for being a wonderful husband and father to his loved ones. Ron was the MacGyver of the family; being able to fix anything you needed. His love for fast cars and Alabama Football were some of his favorite hobbies. ROLL TIDE YA’LL!!!! Ron was a strong businessman and entrepreneur which he and his family were so proud of. He never met a stranger when he was out and about and would even give you the shirt off his back if needed. Ron will be missed so deeply and is loved beyond measure by all those who knew him.
