Rosa is survived by her daughter Faye Pickard; and her son Adam Pickard (Teresa); her grandchildren Deboragh Pickard (AJ), Caitlyn Pickard (Chris), and Matthew Volk, her great grandchild Aaron Johnson, her nieces Lynn Higgins (Dan) and Cindy Wells (Gary); her nephew Steve Madeley (Angie); and great nieces and nephews, Courtney, Tina, Chloe, Taylor, Emily, Savannah and Harrison.
Rosa was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Pickard and her parents Claude and Barney Thrasher.
A visitation for Rosa will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Iron City Baptist Church, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Forestlawn & Gardens.
Rosa was a member of Iron City Baptist Church where she was an active member of the Angel Ministries Program. She enjoyed planting flowers. She loved roses. She was a loving mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She was known for her positive attitude and acts of kindness and support and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Iron City Baptist Church to the Angel Ministries Program.
