Rosemary Gunn

Funeral service for Rosemary Patty Gunn, 82, of Alexandria, will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Mike Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Gunn died Wednesday at Jacksonville Medical Center.

Survivors include two daughters, Ann Stevens and husband, Red Stevens, of Birmingham, Janet Rainwater, and husband, Harold Rainwater, of Jacksonville; two sisters, Zora Bell Smitherman, of Alexandria and Dorothy Clark Gilchrist, of Jacksonville; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gunn is preceded in death by two sons, Roger Wayne Gunn and Owen Isaac "Ike" Gunn Jr.; her parents, William F. and Elsie Mae Patty.

Pallbearers will be Jason Rainwater, Destin Matos, Diamond Matos, Isaac Gunn III, Michael Gunn and Billy Smitherman.

Mrs. Gunn was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of Northside Baptist in Anniston for over 60 years and a member of Leatherwood Baptist Church for the past 20 years.
