Funeral services for Mr. Ross Edwin Cotton Sr., age 85, of Oxford, Alabama, will be 11:00 a.m., July 22nd, 2023, at the chapel of Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Bro. Tony Snider officiating. Burial will follow at Morrison Chapel United Methodist Cemetery in Wedowee, AL. The family would like to welcome friends one hour prior to service time. Mr. Cotton passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.
He is survived by his son, Eddie Cotton and his wife Lesa; grandchildren, Chase Cotton and his wife Sunnie, Lauren Amis and her husband Konnor; great-grandchild, Brooks Amis, including several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Cotton is preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Cotton; his parents and a host of brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be Konnor Amis, Vernon Cotton, Mike Kennedy, David Stubbs, Chad Lee, and Wayne Hollingsworth.
Mr. Cotton enjoyed fishing when he could and riding his motorcycle. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Carolin Oaks staff and residents in Heflin, AL.
