Anniston – Funeral services for Ruby Lee Bradshaw, 96, of Anniston will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. James Cohorn officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Ruby died Saturday, June 14, 2014.
Survivors include her daughter, Jane Bradshaw Locklin and her husband, Jackie, of Toney; son-in-law, Johnny W. Yother of Anniston; one granddaughter, Anita Yother McNeal and her husband Tim; great-grand dog, Abby, of Huntsville; two grandsons, Sam Smith of Oregon and Stephen Lee Smith and his wife Nuvera; two great-granddaughters, Sarah Ashley and Noor-Anna, of Georgia.
Mrs. Bradshaw is preceded in death by her husband, James F. Bradshaw; daughter, Carol Sue Bradshaw Yother and grandson, Anthony (Tony) Wayne Yother; and her ten siblings.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was active in the Ladies Circle. She retired at the age of 84 years after working at The Book Rack for 25 years where she was call the “Book Lady”. She worked with the Girl Scouts and enjoyed driving her lady friends to church, loved her plants and loved to do the Charleston.
