Survivors include her children, Teresa Dalton and Kenneth Cheatwood; grandchildren, Tracy Cooper, Brittany Hartley, Stephanie Homesley and Keith Locklear; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Willard Thrasher and Toy Thrasher; brothers, Ralph Vaughn and Wayne Vaughn; and son-in-law, Rodney Petty.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Cheatwood; parents, Ira and Lois Vaughn; daughters, Cheryl Parris and Pamela Petty; sister, Mary Ellen Osborn and brother, Hulon Vaughn.
