Funeral service for Ruby Jane Faulkner Cordle, 76 of Anniston will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Burial will follow at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 pm Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Cordle passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Regional Medical Center.
Ruby is survived by her husband of 58 years, Larry Cordle; children, Scott (Roxanne) Cordle, Greg Cordle, Lisa (Eddie) Bradley and Landon (Ashley) Cordle; grandchildren, Summer Cordle, Seth Cordle, Briana Cordle, Amber (Terance) Perkey, Alyssa (Torrance) Perkey, Megan (Josh) Walker and Nick Cordle; great-grandchildren, Karter Williams and Addie Walker; one brother, John (Kay) Faulkner; her four legged friend, Holly and lots of nieces and nephews.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Faulkner, Sr. and Minnie Lee Taylor Faulkner; brother, Oscar Faulkner, Jr and sister, Thelma Faulkner Ford Gilley.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Ruby, also known as Bibi to most, was retired from Sears Parts and Service. She loved gardening, playing cards and spending time with family and church friends. She also enjoyed traveling, cooking and the Auburn Tigers. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
