Ruby W Mount

Visitation for Ruby Mount, 88, of Eastaboga, will be tonight from 6-8pm at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. The family will hold a private graveside on Saturday at Plum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be holding a celebration of life for Mrs. Mount on Saturday at 12pm at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

Survivors include her daughters: M. Marie Higgie of New York and Sarah Bolt (Kenneth); sons: Jerry Mount (Ann) and James Mount; brother, Howard Winton (Linda); sister-in-law, Mary Winton; grandchildren: Patty Foster (Jim), Tonya Coley, Barbara Rifanberg (Mark), Donna Higgie, Brian Mount, Jeff Bolt, Anthony Mount (Katrina), Tina Cary (Jason), and Julia Bullock (Jordan); eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Noel Briand.

Mrs. Mount is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Johnie H. Mount; special brother, Edward Winton and three other brothers and four sisters.

Mrs. Mount was a very patriotic woman who loved her family and her God. She was a mother to many and a friend to all. She was a very simple woman, but she lived a rich life, and will be greatly missed. A special thanks to all her “girls” at Jacksonville Health and Rehab… “You Know it!”
