Rudell D Gilmer passed on June 4, 2026, at the age of 98, having been born on November 14, 1927, in Alabama, and residing in Anniston, Alabama.

Rudell is survived by a son, Michael Gilmer, and a sister, Faye Bunn; Rudell was preceded in death by parents, Russell and Eldie Daugherty, and a husband, Frank Gilmer.

A Committal Service will be held at Forestlawn Gardens, 730 Golden Springs Rd, Anniston, AL 36207, US, on June 11, 2026, at 3:00 pm. Rev. Roland Brown officiating.
