Wellington - Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth S. Curvin, 87 of Wellington will be Monday, October 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at 1st B Baptist Church of Wellington, with Rev. Tommy Miller and Rev. Jackie Bentley officiating with burial following at Wellington 1st Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
Mrs. Curvin passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 Gadsden RMC.
Mrs. Curvin is survived by her daughters, Dale C. (Troy) Casey, Susan Curvin; son, Rex A. (Becky) Curvin; grandchildren, Bradley (Gina) Curvin, Whitney (Reid) Stewart, Holli Casey and Heidi Casey; great grandchild, Dylan Curvin; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Curvin was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar H. “Hut” Curvin; parents, J.W. and Josie Surrett; brother, Edward Surrett.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mrs. Curvin was a native and lifelong resident of Wellington, Al where she was a active member of Wellington 1st Baptist Church for over 60 years.
