Sandra Gail Sparks

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. James Abernathy officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Plum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sandra is preceded in death by her son, Doug Sparks; her parents, Irene and Cleve Silas; her siblings, Dot Moore, Wayne Silas and Annette Haynes.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Floyd Sparks; her son Troy Sparks; 6 grandchildren: Shauntel (Josh) Cosper, Cody (Jamie) Sparks, Leighton (Will) Parker, Eilee Sparks, Crossley Sparks and Brenlee Sparks; 4 great grandchildren: Brylee Ward, Lennox Cosper, Arianna Sparks and Madden Cosper; siblings: Jo (Ronnie) Mitchell, Joyce Rickson, Glenda Oswalt and Lewis Silas and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Casey Lowery, Keith Dutton, Derek Slick, Will Parker, Josh Cosper and James Anderson.

Sandra loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family and helping others. She enjoyed working at her store and outside in her greenhouse. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
