Sandra was born and raised in Anniston, Alabama to R.L. and Edna Richey in December 17th, 1944.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Reverand J.B. Wells, and her parents, R.L. and Edna Richey.
Sandra is survived by her daughter; Jan Wells, her son; Stacy Wells (Wendy), and grandchildren; Sierra Wells and Tanner Wells. Survivors also include her wonderful caregiver and close friend, Brenda Smith, who has become like family.
Sandra was a native of Alabama. She met her late husband and was married at just 15 years old. She was a devoted pastor's wife who supported him endlessly by staying involved in the Church. She was an amazing homemaker who never met a stranger. She loved everyone. Sandra was also a very proud mother and grandmother.
The family would also like to thank the staff of Southern Care Hospice for their love and care during such a difficult time.
A visitation will be held at Southside Baptist Church on Friday, October 24th, 2025 from 11am to 1pm. A funeral service will follow with Jerry Starling, Dr. Darrel Woods, and Darrell Brown officiating.
Pallbearers will be Tanner Wells, Jim Cagle, Justin Carden, John Hatley, Scott Halasz, and Edwin Smith.
