
Funeral services for Shirley Dee Ann Bryant, 71, of Anniston, will be 1 pm Tuesday at Gray Brown-Service with Rev. Mike Drummond officiating. Burial will follow at Munford Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Bryant died Friday at UAB.
Survivors include her husband, Edward L. Bryant of Anniston, one son Edward Michael Bryant of Anniston, one daughter, Kimberly Cooper and husband Douglas of Alexandria, four grandchildren, Blair Michelle “Missy” Werner, Meaghan Wells, Amanda Wells and Zachery Cooper, three great grandchildren, Samuel and Lillian Werner and Gage Birchfield, one sister, Katie Little of Henegar, four brothers, Thomas Lathem of Talladega, Jim Lathem of Pell City, Herbert Lathem of Henegar and Donald Lathem of Ft. Payne.
Mrs. Bryant is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Resse Lathem and two sisters, Patricia Lathem and Clara Kendall.
Pallbearers will be Darrin Franklin, Steven Lathem, Billy Fuller, Tony Wooten, Dalton Parnell and Donald Lathem.
Mrs. Bryant was a native of Talladega County and a resident of Anniston for most of her life. She was a member of Munford Baptist Church. Mrs. Bryant loved her rose’s and her garden.
