Being a charismatic car salesman was something Shurwood enjoyed doing most of his working life. His love for cars and helping out his favorite customers or family gave him a purpose and a joy for automobiles. Earlier in his life, he was a dedicated employee at "Dearmanville Feed and Seed" with owner and dear friend, Dwight Byrd. Besides being the funny and clever person Shurwood was, he definitely made every gathering quite the party. When he wasn't busy giving you huge belly laughs, he was busy giving his big heart to those he loved and cared for. You never would be without anything, as long as he knew about it. His generosity was most certainly measured in heaps. In his spare time, him and Connie would enjoy the gorgeous beaches along the coast of Florida as often as he could. Alabama football was always apart of his routine during the season, giving him a title of the biggest Alabama fan we knew. We surely were blessed to have him as long as we did, but we know he's having the best reunion with our family. Rest easy now.
