Syble Ozell Connell Williams

Anniston - Funeral services for Mrs. Syble Ozell Connell Williams, 89 of Anniston will be Friday, August 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Virgil Bohn officiating with burial following at Eulalton United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends this Friday from 12p.m until service time at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Williams passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 in Marietta, GA.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Kelly “Snooky” (Cameron) Schiedt of Marietta, GA; son, Daniel (Laida) Williams of Columbia, TN; sister, Wilma Roberson; grandchildren, LTC Michael Thornton, stationed in Germany, Shannon Whiddon of Charleston, SC, Jon Carr of Brooklyn, NY, David Carr of Marietta, GA, Christy Teague of Cumming, GA, and Matthew Williams of Columbia, TN; seven great-grandchildren; six nieces; and three nephews.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest L. Williams; daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Thornton.

Pallbearers will be family members.

Mrs. Williams was a native and longtime resident of Calhoun County; she graduated from Anniston High School class of 1943.
