Sylvia Champion

Sylvia is survived by her immediate family Trisha Hurst (Mark), Donna Byrne (Greg), and Dana Reid and her grandchildren Alex Byrne and Emily Byrne.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Linder; her husband's Charles "CC" Champion and JD Champion, and several step siblings.

Graveside services for Sylvia will be Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Anniston Memorial Gardens with Pastor David Williams officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30 until 1:30 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Sylvia was a native of Anniston, Alabama and retired from Regional Medical Center. She was Baptist by faith. She loved dogs and was a gifted green thumb. She was like a second Mom to Trish, Donna and Dana and loved being the devoted Nana to Alex and Emily. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
