Funeral service for Tom Pruitt Sr., 69, of Anniston will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday November 9, 2013 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Cecil Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery in Gadsden. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 - 1 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Pruitt passed away Monday at RMC: Anniston.
Survivors include his sons, Tom Pruitt Jr. (Pam), Michael Pruitt (Cindy), David Pruitt (Pepper), and Bill Mitchell; Daughters, Tersa Parker (Danny), Kelly Earl (Rick), Diane Schutz, and Cindy Woodall; Sister, Gail Kiker; many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; niece, Wendy Kiker Michael (Mark); and special friend Brenda Sprayberry.
Mr. Pruitt is preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Pruitt; parents, Marie and Truman Poor; and son, Mark Mitchell.
Mr. Pruitt was a native of Anniston, Al and a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Anniston. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
