Timothy Ray Grizzard

Funeral Service for Tim Grizzard, 59, of Oxford, will be held at 2pm on Sunday, October 22nd, 2017 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Dr. C.O. Grinstead officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Grizzard passed away at his home on Sunday.

He is survived by his closest friend, Kenneth Cotton; his children Amanda Michelle Grizzard, Jacqueline Alinda Grizzard, Jamie Carr, and Kyle Beegle; grandchildren Ashlee Grizzard, Lyndsey Grizzard, Jack Carr, Jake Waites, Josh Carr, and Kenslee Cohron; brothers Doyle Grizzard, Horace Grizzard, and Keith Grizzard; sisters Rita Mosley and Jean Sides; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ira Glenn and Zannie Louella Grizzard; sisters Shirley Elsea and Norma Lewis; and brothers Thomas Grizzard, James Grizzard, Wayne Grizzard, Michael Grizzard and infant brother David Lynn Grizzard.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mr. Grizzard was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked at Honda for 10+ years. He loved cutting grass, riding his John Deer Tractor, watching NASCAR and Alabama Football, and spending time with his grandkids. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. ROLL TIDE!
