Timothy Harry Sattler

Anniston - Funeral services for Mr. Timothy Harry Sattler, 73, of Anniston will be Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Rick Reaves officiating, burial following at the Alabama National Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends Friday, January 30, 2015 from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Sattler went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 23, 2015 at his home in Anniston.

Mr. Sattler is survived by his wife, Mary Jones Sattler; daughter, Kristen (Kurt) Haneke; son, Stephen (Lora) Sattler; sister, Julie (Neil) Ginther; grandchildren, Maddie, Abby, and Sarah Haneke, and Luke, Kyle, and Paige Sattler; nieces, Wynn Brown, Megan Ginther, Natalie Schreiber, and Allison Pelech.

Pallbearers will be Tom Carleson, Jason Gilbert, Elmer Bailey, Kurt Haneke, Luke Sattler and Kyle Sattler. Honorary pallbearers are Lamar Jones and Jim Paschal. Mr. Sattler was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Vivian Sattler; sister, Sue Jarvinen; brother, Martin Sattler.

Mr. Sattler was a native of Wisconsin and a resident of Calhoun County. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service; a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Hillcrest Building Fund.
