Graveside services for Van Warren Skinner, 64 of Anniston will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Forestlawn Gardens with Rev. Ray Skinner officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 pm prior to the service at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Mr. Skinner passed away September 7 at UAB after a long fight with leukemia.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Berry; sons, Raymond Skinner and Kevin Skinner; nine grandchildren; sisters, Mary Honeycutt, Joan Carter, Shela Skinner; brothers, Ray Skinner and Paul Skinner; brother-in-law, John W. “Bill” Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Skinner is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Nelson and Lillar Skinner and brothers, Arthur Skinner and Don Skinner.
