Ginger is survived by her daughters Shouda Pruitt (Scottie); and Tabitha Smith (Chris); her sisters Donna Rowland (Richard), Connie Vinson (Keith), Glenda Wright, her brothers Clifford Henderson and James Henderson (Becky); her grandchildren Americus Conner, Zoey Conner, Emmaleigh Smith, Melvin Smith, Lucas Smith and several nieces & nephews.
Ginger was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Williams Jr.; her parents Henry & Laura Henderson; one brother; five sisters, and two grandchildren.
A Memorial service for Ginger will be Friday September 22, 2023 at 6:00 PM at The Salvation Army in Anniston, Alabama with Hal Childs officiating. The family will receive friends Starting at 4:30 until service time.
Ginger was a longtime resident of Anniston and a member of The Salvation Army Church. She worked at Headstart for 20 years and had a degree in Early Childhood Development from the University of Alabama. She also taught the youth group at her church. Ginger was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
