Billie is survived by her sister Elizabeth S. Dempsey; her nephews Eric Dempsey (Nannelle), Lane Dempsey (Angie) and Greg Dempsey (Cy).
Billie was preceded in death by her parents Grace and Henry Smith.
A visitation for Billie will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201, followed by a funeral services at 2:00 PM with Rev. Donnie Sills officiating.
Billie will be laid to rest in Edgemont Cemetery, 3555 Noble St, Anniston, Alabama 36201.
Billie was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of First Baptist Church since 1938. She worked several different jewelry stores throughout Calhoun County and retiring from Griffin Jewelers. Billie was very active in her community.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Billie's memory may be made to First Baptist Church McClellan.
