Wayman Lee Thompson

Wayman is survived by his daughter Rebecca Battles (Allan); his son Allen Thompson; and his son Shannon Thompson (Tammy); his brother Bobby Joe Certain and his brother Fred Thompson; his grandchild Caiti Thomas, his grandchild Cassidy Deavor, his grandchild Kaitlyn Thompson, his grandchild Allanc Blankenship, his grandchild Brianne Thompson, his grandchild Joseph Humphries Jr, his grandchild Kolby Battles, his grandchild Anna Grace Thompson, his great grandchild Megan Thomas, his great grandchild Emeline Blankenship, his great grandchild Mia Kate Deavor, his great grandchild Winter Humphries, his great grandchild Elizabeth Hanson and his great grandchild Bryson Hanson.

Wayman was preceded in death by his wife Judy Sue Thompson; his brother Ricky Thompson and his brother Eddie Thompson; his granddaughter Natalie Thompson.

A visitation for Wayman will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 542 W 52nd St, Anniston, Alabama 36206, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Wayman will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery, Alexandria, AL.

Serving as pallbearers are Allen Thompson, Kolby Battles, Joseph Humphries, George Sanders, Austin Champion, Dale Sanders, Allan Battles and Shannon Thompson.
