Wayne Raymond Wilson

Mr. Wayne Raymond Wilson, 69, of Ohatchee had his Glad Reunion Day with his Lord and family in heaven on April 12, 2022. Wayne passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. Graveside Services will be Saturday April 23, 2022 at 2pm at Hebron Cemetery in Ohatchee. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the cemetery. Bro. Jason Markham officiating.

Wayne is survived by the love of his life his wife of 31 years, Joy Lane Wilson; daughters, Candice (AJ) Dean of Eastaboga and Tina Shipp of Missouri; grandchildren, Delilah, Getlow, of Eastaboga, Wil Gualt, Amanda Scheib, Jessee Shipp, Emma Shipp, and his great grandchildren; sisters, June Burch of Texas, Caroline Bright of Kentucky and Elaine (Jerry) Stewart of South Carolina; brothers, Richard Wilson of Ohatchee and Kenny (Twana) Wilson of Anniston.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Alma Wilson; a brother Randy Wilson; and a sister, Brenda Smith.

Wayne was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and he served in the United States Army, retired from Anniston Army Depot, and was a professional truck driver. Wayne was a member of Duke Lodge 574 for 29 years, and a member of the Scottish Rite.
