Funeral service for Wes Fite, 38, of Anniston, will be 2 pm Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Father Chris Hartley and Tony Hamm officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 pm – 2 pm at Gray Brown-Service. Wes passed away on December 27, 2017 in Anniston.
Survivors include his mother, Judy B. Fite, sister, Laurie Hicks, niece, Taylor Hicks and nephew, Hunter Landers.
Wes is preceded in death by his father, State Rep. Lea Fite and grandparents, Christine and William Deason.
Pallbearers will be Trey Cable, Hunter Gooch, Larry Pritchett, Ashley Hubbert, Wes Spivey and Shon Dukes.
Wes was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was a graduate of Jacksonville High School. Wes never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face. He was the “Apple of his mother’s eye”. He was loved by so many. Wes had such a sweet soul and he would do anything for anyone. Everyone that knew him loved him.
