Graveside service for William Paul Chastain, 88, of Anniston will be held 2 pm Saturday, December 1 at Edgemont Cemetery. Paul passed into heaven on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. He was a WWII veteran who loved his country and his Lord Jesus Christ. Preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Mary Chastain, by his daughter Sheryl Chastain and grandson-in-law, Dan Kingery. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Myra of 64 years; daughter Keithia (Paul) Lowe; grandchildren Matthew Sprout, Sherry Kingery, Ross Lowe, Elizabeth Sprout, Keith Lowe; great-grandchildren Allen Kohnen, Dillon Wellman, Andrew (Brittany) Kingery, Gavin Kingery, sister-in-law, Elene Chastain; and several beloved nephews and nieces with special appreciation to Buddy Screws.
Paul retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was an active member of LeGrand Avenue Church of Christ and later Indian Oaks Christian Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Indian Oaks Christian Church.
