

JACKSONVILLE – Funeral service for Rev. Gerald Clark will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 26, 2011, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Revs. Alton Parris, Billy Anderson and Bill Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 3 – 8 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2011 at the funeral home.
Mr. Clark passed away Monday, February 21, 2011 at NEARMC.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Clark of Jacksonville; daughters; Deborah (Louis) Bass, Pamela (Daniel) Clibrey both of Jacksonville, Rachel (Steve) Caldwell of Talladega; son, Larry (Lecresha) Clark of Jacksonville; sister, Mildred Tavenner of Tyler, TX; brothers, Roy Clark of Weaver, Leon Clark of Anniston; grandchildren, Jordan (Ashley) Bass, Corey Bass, Lauren Bass, Adam Clibrey, Macie Caldwell and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Bass, Corey Bass, Jeffery Clark, Tony Clark, Tim Clark and Jason Tidwell.
Mr. Clark was a native of Anniston, AL and resident of Jacksonville, AL He was a loving husband, dad, granddad, and uncle. He was an active minister for 48 years. He was a great man with a huge heart. His life’s desire was to do God’s work, and he had a genuine love and heart for people. His life touched so many and he will be greatly missed. He was Pastor of Coldwater Worship Center for 21 years. He was an RMC Volunteer Chaplain Staff, 1st Assistant Superintendent of North Alabama Conference, 1st Assistant Superintendent, Secretary and Treasury of South Alabama Conference, pastored three churches in Anniston, AL: Parkwin, 24th McKleroy and Coldwater Worship Center
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Ezra and Beulah Viola Clark.
