Graveside services for William Kenneth “Kenny” Dickie, 70, of Ohatchee, will be 1 pm Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Anniston Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Samuel Legon officiating. Mr. Dickie died Friday.
Survivors include two daughters, Kaye Veazey (Butch) of Lake Forest, IL and Melanie Dickie of Weaver, brother, Ronald Dickie (Grace) of Ohatchee, nephew, Jim Dickie (Tricia) and a grandnephew, Caleb Dickie both of Ohatchee.
Mr. Dickie is preceded in death by his parents, Hermas Dickie and Iva Richie Dickie both of Ohatchee.
Mr. Dickie was a retired self-employed wood hauler and a lifelong resident of Ohatchee. For the past several years, Mr. Dickie was known among car show enthusiasts in the area, winning many awards for his restored 1929 Model A Ford.
