Affectionately known as Billy, he served in the United States Army for 14 years. After his military service he worked for the United States Post Office in Anniston for 20 years. He was a faithful member and deacon at 49th Street Baptist Church in Anniston. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and kayaking, but most of all spending time making memories with his family.
He was a faithful husband of 48 years to Dee-Dee (Beaver) Henshaw and a loving father to daughter, April (William Morris) and son Samuel Henshaw. He was also a proud “Pawpaw” to Crystal Joy Morris, William Morris, Jr., William Tribble (Trey) Henshaw, III, and Timothy Morris. He is also survived by his aunt, Jean Tucker, as well as many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Gray-Brown Services and Mortuary, Anniston, Alabama. Visitation will begin at 12 noon and service following. Burial will follow the service at Forestlawn Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Missions Fund at 49th Street Baptist Church, which was near and dear to his heart.
