William is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Helen Riess; his daughter Debbie Hatmaker; and his son Curt Riess; his grandchildren David Hatmaker, Anita Pearce, Nolan Riess and Alana Riess.
A graveside for William will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Oxford Memorial Gardens, 100 McKibbon St, Oxford, Al 36203.
William was a Deacon at Meadowbrook Baptist Church of Oxford. He loved his church and his family greatly. He enjoyed yardwork, gardening and woodworking. He was a great handy man. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
