Arthur Foster Goebel

96, of Anoka

Died peacefully on 7/18/2023.

Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur H. and Julia J. Goebel; son-in-law, Ron Nordin.

Survived by his loving wife of 68 ½ years, Margaret (Maggie); daughters, Sally Nordin, Sue (Mark) Arvesen, Sharon (Steve) Mantey; grandchildren, Stephanie (Jeremy), Dan (Jenny), Maggie (Jeremy), Jill (Jeff), Tess (Ryan), Jay (Danielle), Julia; 11 great-grandchildren. Arthur was born on November 26, 1926. He owned and operated Art Goebel Ford in Anoka and Coon Rapids for 41 years.

Arthur was a 66 year Member of the Anoka Lions and past President, Member of Zion Lutheran Church for 65 years and also served on the Church Council and a 60 year member of Greenhaven Golf Club. Arthur was very proud of his family and loved them dearly.

Funeral Service 11:00 am on Monday 7/24/2023 at Zion Lutheran Church (1601 South 4th Ave. Anoka, MN) Visitation 10:00 am until time of service.

Interment Sunset Cemetery

Memorials preferred to Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka, Anoka Lions Club or the

Animal Human Society of Coon Rapids.
