Craig Warren Simmons

Craig spent the majority of his childhood in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He attended Rhinelander High School followed by enlistment in the US Navy. He was stationed in the Philippines for the duration of his service. Craig returned from his service and began attending Nicolet College in Rhinelander, WI.

He then moved to the Twin Cities area and continued on with general studies at the University of Minnesota. Craig became a lab technician and computer support specialist for a health care clinic. He possessed skill at diagnosing computer related issues and often assisted friends and family with computer problems.

From here, Craig moved to the Alexandria, MN area. Craig enjoyed being outdoor in nature, especially in

the Northwoods of Wisconsin. He spent time boating and fishing on the various lakes in the Rhinelander, WI

area. Brook trout fishing on the streams of Starks, WI was a favorite pastime of his.

He is survived by his brother, Mark Simmons; sisters, Julia and Wendy Simmons; several nieces and nephews - Ryan and Erika Brewer, Travis (Lauren) Pommerening and Brigette Pommerening, Marley and

Finley Simmons, Tyler and Teddie Simmons, and Ashley Kudick. Craig is preceded in his passing by parents, Gerald and Margery Simmons; brothers, Allan and Jeff Simmons.

A private Committal Service is scheduled at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on September 30, 2025. Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
