Cynthia May Ludgate went home on September 20th, 2020, after a long battle of declining health from dementia and heart failure.

She fought long and hard, and overcame many challenges along the way. She was amazingly strong, stubborn and determined always. She loved her treats, chocolate sweets and a loaded cup tea (lots of sugar & milk). She would give all she had, a very hard working lady. Her smile would make you smile. She will be missed by many and always in our hearts and memories.

Cynthia will be lovingly remembered by her "6" Children: Catherine (Don), Sandra (Mike), Steven (Mary), Mary, Christopher (Vanz) and David (Sandy). Her "19" Grandchildren: Tami (Dan), Holly, Donette, Heidi, Lisa (Q), Michelle, Wendi, Hope (Shawn), Gary, Nathaniel (Erin), Jennifer, Michael, Kimberly, Branden (Jessica), Jessica (Steve), Jaron, Megan, Kelsey and Tyler. My Mom had dementia so we had a long goodbye. Each time I visited her she had slipped away a little more. I haven't shed many tears on her passing; but there has been years of tears because she no longer understood my love for her. I had pain in my heart from feeling helpless and was grieving her loss when she was still here. All I could do was remind her of who I was, hold her hand and kiss her cheek. The grief I'm feeling now is my last act of love for my Mom. The last thing she said to me was "I want to go home" you're there now Mom, be at peace.

I feel very blessed to have known Cindy. She would come and visit and just talk. I remember one time when I visited her in her home I was on my way out. She had all her family pictures on a table on the way out her door. I asked who the pictures where of, not knowing they were family, and she went through each one. She talked very fondly of each family member, with a twinkle in her eyes. May you Rest In Peace Cindy. My prayers and thoughts are with her family.

I never had the honor of meeting Mrs. Ludgate but have been privileged to have known her sweet daughter Sandy for 13 years through correspondence. Cynthia Ludgate raised a beautiful and loving family who bless the world every day. A greater legacy cannot be had. May they all be comforted at this time and always remember they were well loved. Peace be with you Mrs. Ludgate for a life well lived.

Cindy was a very kind hearted soul. Anytime she would have any kind of extra food or milk , she would knock on Steph’s door and ask if we needed it. Her dog Jasper loved to play with our dog Gracey. Rest In Peace.
